MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING(MRI) is used to visualize detailed internal structures.MRI provides good contrast between the different soft tissues of the body, which makes it especially useful in imaging the brain, muscles, and cancers compared with other medical imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) or X-rays. Unlike CT scans or traditional X-rays, MRI does not use ionizing radiation.
The most commonly used compounds for contrast enhancement are gadolinium-based. MRI contrast agents alter the relaxation times of atoms within body tissues where they are present after oral or intravenous administration.
It is used to assist imaging of blood vessels and of inflamed or diseased tissue where the blood vessels become 'leaky'. It is often used when viewing intracranial lesions with abnormal vascularity or abnormalities in the blood-brain barrier.
OUR APPROACH:
Graton Pharma is committed to introduce MRI contrast agents that have proved safer than the iodinated contrast agents used in X-ray radiography or CT. Anaphylactic reactions are rare, occurring in approx. 0.03–0.1%. Of particular interest is the lower incidence of nephrotoxicity, compared with iodinated agents, when given at usual doses.
Thus Graton Pharma has Marketed contrast-enhanced MRI scanning, a convenient option for patients by introducing Omnivist MRI medium.
OUR PRODUCT:
- Omnivist (gadopentetate dimeglumine) Injection is the N-methylglucamine salt of the gadolinium complex of diethyl netriamine penta acetic acid, and is an inject able contrast medium for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).It is indicated for use with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in adults, and pediatric patients (2 years of age and older) to visualize lesions with abnormal vascularity in the brain (intracranial lesions), spine and associated tissues. It has been shown to facilitate visualization of intracranial lesions including but not limited to tumors.

IMMUNE SUPPRESSIVE AGENT:
In 50 years, transplantation has become a successful worldwide practice. Worldwide approximately 104,065 solid organ transplants are performed each year. However, there are large differences between countries in access to suitable transplantation and in the level of safety, quality, efficacy of donation and transplantation of human cells, tissues and organs.
OUR APPROACH:
After organ transplantation, the body will nearly always reject the new organ due to differences in human leukocyte antigen haplo types between the donor and recipient. As a result, the immune system detects the new tissue as "hostile", and attempts to remove it by attacking it with recipient leukocytes, resulting in the death of the tissue.
- Gramune (Ciclosporine) is an immunosuppressant drug widely used in organ transplantation to prevent rejection. It reduces the activity of the immune system by interfering with the activity of T cells.
